Emerging Trends in Localization Techniques for WSNs: A Review

Sensor networks are the most prominent field for environmental monitoring that plays a very important role in many applications. Determining the location of a sensor node is a necessary task to obtain the accurate information in WSNs. Therefore, localization becomes a key challenge for WSNs application to incur the location knowledge for each node. In the most of localization algorithms uses the known coordinates to deploy some nodes. To localization, each of unknown node is done with the communication via known coordinates nodes in WSNs. In this paper, we critically analyze and discussion of current challenges arising for localization in WSNs. This paper discussed the many of researcher's main idea for various possibilities that arise in WSNs. The vital localization techniques explained briefly so that this beneficial for all research get an idea to overcome the new challenges and issues of localization in WSNs.
