X-Cardio: Fuzzy Inference System to Diagnose Heart Diseases

Many people suffer from severe heart diseases due to their little ignorance, scarcity of specialists, practitioners and health facilities. It’s a height of stupidity to wait for the disasters results if it is a problem related to health of any patient. Early detection of these diseases can save one’s life. In an effort to address such problems, research forced us to design a system with potential to do a robust diagnosis and guidance. Medical expert systems are designed to help various physicians in diagnosis of different diseases. Due to non-background of medical field, a patient presents symptoms with vague nature. Due to this, Fuzzy Logic Approach is used to deal with raised uncertainties. Obtained results show the risk of heart diseases corresponding to the symptoms that were selected by a patient. Findings of this system confirm that the system will be helpful not only in the terms of cost effectiveness but will also prove an accurate and time efficient technique to collect the results.
