An Implementation of AutomationML for an Industry 4.0 Case Study: RoboCup@Work

This paper provides a system design of the mobile platform build by the RoboHub Eindhoven (a student organization) for the RoboCup@Work competition, as an industry 4.0 case study. The RoboCup@Work is an international competition that aims to foster research in industrial automation. The Robo-Hub Eindhoven is building a custom-made robot for competing in the RoboCup. To make the best possible robot a model-based breakdown in AutomationML of the Robot is made. This allows for better understanding of the competition and a system design view on the requirements for new robot design.
