Design and Simulation of Compliant Constant Force Hand Claw Based on Matlab

The compliant mechanism satisfies the design requirements through its own deformation. This paper mainly introduces the design and simulation of compliant and constant force hand claws for injection molding manipulator. The mechanism was analyzed and designed to divide the motion process. First, motion analysis and qualitative analysis were carried out for the mechanism. So the influence of joint number on the constant output clamping force was obtained. The related design parameters were obtained by trial and error method. The design parameters were proven reasonable on Matlab simulation. It will lay a foundation for further research on the constant force grasping over injection molding manipulator in the future.
