Magneto-Mechanotherapy Combined System

Physical activity restoration in patients after suffering injuries of the musculoskeletal system or stroke occurs for a relatively long time, which adversely affects at the cardiovascular system. One of the widely used methods for the locomotor functions rehabilitation of these patients today is mechanotherapy. For effective mechanotherapy, it is necessary to ensure good blood supply to the tissues in the injury area, which necessitates stimulating the blood supply and controlling hemodynamic parameters during the procedure. To solve this problem, in the present work, it was proposed to design a stand for mechanotherapy with the possibility of applying electromagnetic therapy that can combine therapeutic effects and monitor blood circulation parameters. As part of the study, the developed stand was tested on healthy volunteers, as a result of which hemodynamic signals were recorded from the lower limbs. As a result of the work, a comparative analysis of the obtained data was performed, showing the effectiveness of combination therapy.
