Performance Improvement of RGO/MnO_2 Nanoflower Hybrid Structure for Vapor Sensing Applications by Comparing with its Pristine Counterpart

Present paper aims to improve the methanol sensing performance of MnO₂ Nanoflower (MnO₂NF) based devices by incorporating to RGO. The hybrid structure of RGO/MnO₂ was found to offer dramatic improvement in terms of response magnitude (~82.67% at 100 ppm), response time (7s) and recovery time (11s) compared to its pristine counterpart. The possible cause for such improvement may be due to the additional adsorption sites on RGO layer and high electron mobility of the same.
