Augmentation of NavIC with BeiDou-2 Over Indian Region

This paper focuses, initially, on the study of satellite visibility of augmented NavIC with BeiDou-2. Comparative analysis of NavIC and NavIC augmented with BeiDou-2 is also performed in terms of Dilution of Precision (DOP). DOP is a term used in satellite navigation to stipulate the supplementary multiplicative result of navigation satellite geometry on positional measurement precision. The augmentation has caused improvement in the satellite visibility and DOP.
