Characteristics of Compact Folded Dipole Antennas for Miniaturized Wireless Devices

In wireless communication devices, efficient arrangement of antennas is required along with the miniaturization of devices. On the other hand, when antennas are installed in small devices, the input impedance characteristics of the antennas are affected. In this paper, we propose a folded dipole antenna surrounding the ground plane. As a results, it is enable us to use the space in wireless communication device effectively and to adjust the input impedance of the proposed antenna by optimizing the parameters of that.
