A Protection Scheme for Central Offices in Radio-on-Fiber Cloud Radio Access Networks

We propose a novel and scalable protection scheme for the central offices in a group of cloud radio access networks, by properly assigning the wavelength bands and incorporating optical switching devices at each central office.
