Research on Controlled Characteristic of the Novel Electromagnetic Recuperator

In this paper, a new structure design scheme of electromagnetic recuperator is proposed, which is based on the movement characteristic of gun recuperator and the working principle of linear motor. After analysing the basic structure and the workflow of the novel electromagnetic recuperator, establishing the mathmatical model of the electromagnetic recuperator, we put forward a method that control electromagnetic force by adjust load resistance. Besides, the simulation model was built by MAXWELL for analysis, and according to the requirements of the expectations movement of gun,a function transformation method by changing the direction of the current is proposed, this made the electromagnetic recuperator both the function of the traditional recuperator and the governor. The result of research shows that, electromagnetic recuperator based on the technique of linear motor can achieve the real-time control of recuperator force, simplify the structure of artillery, and provide a theoretical basis for further optimization of electromagnetic recuperator development.
