Mechatronic System of Main Electric Drive of Hot Plate Mill

The main transmission system of rolling mill has been damaged several times during the production process. In recent years, there have been more than ten serious accidents in large rolling mills. Except for a few accidents due to equipment defects and failures, the main reason is that the mill produces all kinds of vibration. In view of the transmission parts damage phenomenon occurs frequently, it is necessary in the design of the rolling mill main drive system or transformation, from the viewpoint of dynamics, optimize the structural parameters of the main transmission system design. Mechanical vibration has an adverse effect on the strength of the equipment and destroys the process. “The mathematical model needs to be established on the mill stand to explore the dynamic load problem. This model should reflect the real transient process. The article considers the development of such a mathematical model for the example of a hot rolling mill of stand 5000 OJSC “MMK” (Magnitogorsk Iron and Steel Works) using Bode diagrams.
