Analysis of the Use of Synchronization Methods in Intelligent Electronic Devices

Vector Synchronized Measurement Devices (PM Us) are becoming a key element of monitoring, protection, monitoring and assessment applications in energy systems and are the basis for the introduction of large-scale monitoring systems. The analysis of various algorithms and methods of synchronization of measurements in electric networks is carried out in the work. A comparative analysis of the existing measurement synchronization methods is performed and new variants of the algorithms are proposed. The efficiency of the algorithms has been verified on the current feeder 0,4 kV by field tests. The most promising methods of synchronization: the creation of a synchronizing pulse, synchronization with the use of GPS satellites, synchronization with respect to the frequency and phase of the mains voltage.
