Bringing Technology into Fencing Training. The art of Counterattacking

Fencing is a sport which involves a high need for tactical thinking. In this paper we propose a set of smart watches that can be used in epee and foil training to practice counterattack actions, one of the main tools used by fencers in their tactical plan. The watches communicate with each other through a Wi-Fi connection. The idea is innovative and has as design objectives obtaining a low-cost fencing training device.
