Modeling Technique and Control Strategie for Grid-Connected Inverter with LCL filter

Low pass filter is used to interconnect between the inverter and the grid, which is generally LCL filter. However, LCL filter displays a resonant frequency that needs to be damped. Two types of damping technique are active and passive damping used in order to reduce the harmonic content and ensure the stability of the system. Finally, simulations using Matlab/Simulink software, which evaluates all points suggested before, verify the design and results show the efficiency of the proposed method in terms of total harmonic distortion and harmonic attenuation.
