Some Factors Influencing Teachers' Intention to use ICT in Teaching in Secondary Vocational Schools in China

This paper reports and discusses our preliminary findings about factors impacting teachers' technology acceptance and intentions to use ICT in secondary vocational schools. We surveyed 1294 teachers from 13 secondary vocational schools in China and used the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) to analyze the survey data and verify our hypotheses. Our findings indicate significant correlations between Perceived Usefulness and Attitude Towards Using, Perceived Usefulness and Behavioral Intention, Perceived Ease of Use and Attitude Towards Using, as well as Attitude Towards Using and Behavioral Intention. No significant correlation was found between Perceived Ease of Use and Perceived Usefulness.
