Performance Analysis of MIMO System Using M-ary DPSK Modulation Technique Under Rician Fading Channel

Currently wireless communication technology is improving the new generation of data communication, since it has to facilitate the users to communicate and share information or data between them through different wirelessly linked equipment. These scheme of techniques develop and investigate the existing technologies to be easier for the subscribers in order to provide several feature. The M-ary carrier digital modulation systems are widely used in communication area, such as for transmission of teletype information over wires or wireless communication channels and so on. One of the most schemes of M-ary carrier digital modulation is Mary (multi level) differential phase shift keying (MDPSK) which is very important part of the implementation modern wireless communications systems. The main task of this work is to investigate, implement and simulate the 16, 32, 64 and 128 DPSK) using Matlab with Simulink V. 2017b 16, 32, 64, 128, 256 and 512 over Rician communication channel using multi input - multi output (MIMO) system. That MIMO system include multi antenna diversity 2x4, where two (2) is the transmitter antenna and four (4) is the receiver antenna numbers. Both the bit error rate (BER) and symbol error rate (SER) performances are obtained after MDPSK system simulated. The obtained results illustrated that as the level of DPSK modulation increases, the BER and SER increases at the same Eb/No values. This means that, the lower level value corresponds to the better the performance. while the worse is as the level of the DPSK modulation increases.
