A Conceptual Framework for Improving the Software Security of Self-Driven Vehicles

Self-driven vehicles are becoming popular, attacker are trying exploit the weakness of the upcoming technologies which effects the people interest into this growing industries as there are many concern like self - driven vehicles can be hacked and unveil element of society may use it as a tool. It can be used as weapon to harm people or even ending in cause of several deaths. This research paper proposes how to enhance secure sensing positioning, and network security. These method which are proposed have ability to make these technologies more secure. Self-driven vehicles are different from the traditional mechanical vehicles because the vehicles now contain more than 50 Electronic control units(ECUs) networked together which provide the additional features. Each ECU work as a miniature computers with a specific task. These ECUs may work together on a single or multiple vehicles which are based on Controller Area Network (CAN) standard. Self Driven vehicles rely on these ECUs for communications so as a result, these ECUs network are important for the self driven vehicles.
