Displacement Sensors for Linear Electrical, Hydraulic and Pneumatic Actuators

The paper presents the several types of sensors for systems that include linear actuators. In fact, a recording of the different types of linear motion sensors (whether pneumatic or hydraulic) will be recorded, as a brief choice guide. Initially, reference will be made and the definition of the sensor will be given in general. The basic characteristics of these will be explained, and the different types of sensors will also be recorded. Then, the actuator definition will be considered. An analysis of the characteristics and types of actuators will be made. Finally, a more detailed analysis of linear motion sensors and sensors for systems that include linear actuators will presented. The features, the characteristics and mode of operation of each type will be analyzed separately. The comparison between different types of linear motion sensors concludes the rest of the paper.
