Design and Simulation Analysis on the Transmitter/Receiver of MCR-WPT

A large amount of convenience can be brought by magnetically-coupled resonant wireless power transfer (MCR-WPT) which has the advantages like mid-range and high efficiency and is more suitable for the development trends of our society. In a magnetically coupled resonant wireless power transmission system, the design of the transmitting coil and the receiving coil is a key factor that affects the transmission efficiency of the system. In this paper, by considering the effects of skin effect and proximity effect, Ansys Maxwell electromagnetic field simulation software is used to simulate circular conductors at different frequencies. The simulation results are used to select the thickness of the conduit wall at the operating frequency of the system, to reduce the loss caused by the high-frequency current and increase the utilization of the conductor.
