Physiological Response to Emotion Changes in Robot-Aided Resistance Training with Cognitive and Active Force Coexistence

This study illustrates a novel approach in emotional physiological response research by using two experiments, which are IAPS image experiment and resistance training experiment, studying on how to extract the features of emotional physiological responses only related to cognition in the context of cognitive and subjects' active force coexistence. Statistical analysis has been used to compare the features of two experiments, and the features that affected by subjects' active force were excluded. Furthermore, under significance analysis and correlation analysis, this research found out the features of physiological signal which are only related to stroke patients( subjective cognition and can reflect emotional states.
