Algorithms of Authentication and Authorization by Proxy in Distributed Information-Computing Environment

This paper suggests algorithms to be used in a distributed information computing environment for authentication and authorization, which both are delegated to a proxy server. The server receives all the requests to the websites and forwards only those which match the set of rules set by administrators while validating session information if it is present. Introduction of this new party allows to implement single-sign on and proper access control in an existing network of portals with low development overhead.
