Design of Assist Helmet with Two-Way Tracking Ability for Visually Impaired

Vision is something which is inevitable in anyone's life. Loss of vision can be a great hurdle for anyone. Across the planet, millions of people are facing various problems related to poor vision or complete darkness. In our day to day life, navigation is must and for that vision plays the anchoring role. So, to ensure independency of visually challenged person, a helmet design is proposed here. The proposed helmet is equipped with ultrasonic sensor, flame sensor, servo motor, GPS and GSM modules. This assist helmet acts as a vision to the blind person and constantly sends message to the person about the obstacles. Additionally, a tracking system is also included in the device to track the location of the person who wears the helmet. Further, to add safety from fire, a flame detector module is also attached which would indicate in advance in case of any fire presence.
