Design & Fabrication of Automatic Indexing Head with a Moving Platform

Nowadays, Machine tools are more Mechatronics to that of manual. The combination of different technology such as, mechanical, electronics, and data processing systems can lead to newer and fast methods of mass productions. The main objective of this project is to develop a microcontroller based machine comprising programmable indexing head and controlled cutting to ease and relinquish the cumbersome manual work particularly when mass production is undergone. The Microcontroller Based Indexing head is quite portable and can easily attached with the conventional Indexing head of a milling machine with a slight modification in programming according the worm-gear teeth of the Indexing head.
