Design 4-Element Flexible Microstrip Patch Array Antenna Using Silver Nanowires and Polydimethylsiloxane for WLAN Application

This paper present a design 4-element flexible patch array antenna designed with stretchable and highly conductive patch silver nanowires (AgNWs) and elastomer polydimethylsiloxane (PDMS) substrate. The Antenna is designed using radiating edge with inset feed and operates at a frequency of 5 GHz. The proposed antenna has simulated result s11 < -18 dB, Gain around 12.69 dB and stable performance under bending. This antenna is suitable for soldiers involved in urban missions and battles that require Wireless Local Area Network (WLAN) connectivity.
