Intelligent Tools and Methods in Power Delivery Quality and Efficiency Evaluation

The paper proposes to use intelligent methods to study the quality and efficiency for a power delivery system supplying the consumers in a residential area. An original study proposed in this paper will take in account professional computer design environment like Edsa Paladin for providing technical solutions to save power, reducing the delivery losses by implementing power factor correction for the medium voltage area. Together with the efficiency also the quality of the delivered power is analyzed, before the factor correction solutions implementation. The solutions follow the goal to minimize the total power losses on the medium voltage network analyzed and to maximize the quality of the delivered power. On this purpose we use the real data base given by the local power delivery system supervisor.
