Decision Support System for Finding the Best Restaurant Using AHP Method

Medan is one of the largest cities in Indonesia. The number of restaurants makes many consumers confused to choose the best restaurant. this study explains how to determine the best restaurant. Many aspects must be in value to determine the best restaurant based on consumer ratings. in this study the criteria assessed were food, place, price and service. The criteria assessment process is based on interviews to consumers who have visited the restaurant. The value given by the consumer is then calculated using the manual process and then compared with the AHP method. AHP (Analityc Hierarchy Process) is one of the methods of decision making. AHP is a practical method for solving complex problems. In this study, the author has managed to get the best restaurant results. However, research criteria and methods can be developed for further study.
