Synchronous Capacitor-Clamped GaN Electrostatic Energy-Harvesting Power Stage

This paper presents a proposed power stage for an electrostatic energy harvester that uses Gallium Nitride transistors. It provides a review of various energy-harvesting sources, electrostatic energy harvesting, and previous research. It has been well demonstrated that the higher the harvesting voltage the greater the amount of energy harvested from the environment. The simulations show that the proposed circuit can increase the energy harvested per cycle by an order of magnitude, up to 220 nJ/cycle.
