GA Based Multi-objective Operation Optimization of Power Microgrid

An improved Genetic Algorithm based on Tabu search is proposed in this paper. It is used to analyze economic operation of a typical power microgrid. In this paper, a typical microgrid simulation model, including wind turbine, photovoltaic, fuel cell, storage battery and generator, is established. Economic cost and environmental cost are chosen as objective functions. The algorithm proposed is employed to obtain the pareto optimal solution set of the multi-objective optimization. The results show that, compared with GA, the algorithm proposed has greatly enhanced the convergence rate on the whole.
