A Study on Adaptive Nulling Using Evolutionary Algorithms

Most adaptive antennas require digital beamforming to create the covariance matrix necessary to form nulls in the directions of interference. We present a study on power minimization adaptive nulling using evolutionary search algorithms. The numerical results show that these techniques can achieve desirable signal to interference ratios with the added advantage of low cost implementation.
