Multiple Beamforming with TMAs controlled by Periodic Nyquist Pulsed Signals

TMAs are able to provide beamforming of multiple power data stream patterns by applying periodic pulses to the antenna elements. The effectiveness of the technique depends on the ability of such pulses to accurately window the working harmonics. In this regard, rectangular pulses show serious windowing limitations when more than a single harmonic pattern is to be synthesized. With the purpose of efficiently selecting and handling multiple harmonic patterns, we propose the control of TMAs with periodic Nyquist pulsed signals due to their particularly suitable spectral features.
