Review of PAPR Reduction Techniques in Wireless Communication

Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing (OFDM) is considered to be a convincing technique against multipath fading channels for wireless communication. However, OFDM has a peak-to-average power ratio (PAPR) problem, which is a major error in the multicarrier transmission system, which causes energy disabilities in the RF section of transmitters. These papers submit various PAPR reduction techniques and make the whole comparison of this technology. In this the selected SLM mapping technique for different path numbers, which is the most effective technique for PAPR event when the number of sub-carrier is large. Simulation indicates that the PAPR problem has decreased, the number increases the number.
