A Method of Time-frequency Interleave for Broadband Powerline Communication Based on OFDM

Power line communication (PLC) technology is developed rapidly and widely used because of its wide distribution and easy access. Different from the traditional wired communication medium, the channel of power line communication is more complex and susceptible to interference. This paper proposes a diversity scheme based on orthogonal frequency division multiplexing (OFDM) against narrowband interference, pulse interference and multipath fading in low voltage broadband power line communication which improves the reliability of power line communication. The simulation results show that the proposed scheme can greatly improve the performance of power line communication system.
