PID Control Design for a Temperature Control System

The PID controller are long in use for improving the temperature industrial and domestic applications. This is a tedious task to tune the controller parameters to obtain an optimum performance for a system in this paper Ziglor-Nicholos method of tuning PID controller parameters has been done for temperature control of plant. The results have been obtained experimentally for proportional (P), proportional integral (PI), proportional integral derivative (PID) controllers. The PID control scheme gives the best transient as well as study state performance.
