Modified Inverter Control for DFIG-Based System on DC Microgrid

Distributed generations (DGs) have considerably upgraded the traditional structure of power network with the penetration of renewable energy systems (RES). This paper proposed the control scheme for converter system to improve the power quality of the wind energy system (WES) connected to DC microgrid. In this paper, the proposed control scheme is designed and implemented for the WES connected to the DC grid to improve the dynamic response. The WES connected to DC grid is modeled in MATLAB SIMULINK to validate the improvement in power quality of the DFIG based WES with proposed control scheme. The results are discussed to validate the proposed control scheme.
