Adaptive Power Control Algorithm with BBO Optimization in Cognitive Radio

Cognitive Radio has diversified opportunities related to enhancing the range usage that allows, in a similar frequency band, harmonious existence of both the primary users (Pus) and Secondary Users (CUs). Since PUs have the authority over range of significance and to avoid any excessive obstruction to them, power control ought to be done inside the Cognitive Radio configuration. This paper explores the Application of Game Theory concept in matters of Power control attributed to CR frameworks. There are two driving forces that this phenomena is subjected to: 1) Power constraint at PU side & 2) Signal to Interference plus Noise ratio, SINR limitation of each CU. The primary aim of this research work is to reduce the power utilization caused by some CUs SINR over the objective esteem. This begins with defining a non-cooperative Power Control game and subsequently working out an adaptive power control algorithm involving a feedback mechanism for the same. It also involves showcasing the presence and singleness of Nash equilibrium. Through this paper I have tried reducing the Bit Error Rate (BER) of secondary users in CR framework applying Biography based Optimization techniques (BBO). The results of simulation demonstrate the effectiveness of algorithm overcoming the near-far effect, is successful in power reduction as against other distributed algorithms.
