An Android Malware Detection Technique Using Optimized Permission and API with PCA

Almost 90% of world population use smartphone and stores their personal information into android device, According to Trend MicroTM survey, there are millions of android application which is affected with some kind of malware and steals users information, hence We have proposed Malware detection technique based on static analysis, which uses the API and Permissions for malware detection in android device. We have achieved 97.25% accuracy with use of logistic regression and 96.21% of accuracy with the support vector machine further without any pre-procession on our dataset, further when we have pre processed our dataset then we have obtained 97.72% Accuracy with 350 features and and 94.69% accuracy with 30 feature using support vector machine.
