A review of low noise amplifier for 2.4GHz frequency band

This paper presents the review of design parameters and different topologies used for Low Noise Amplifier (LNA) in a particular frequency band i.e., 2.4 GHz, for RF wireless receiver. Low noise amplifier is the foremost component of radio frequency receiver system. The design for LNA basically depends upon a number of parameters. This paper will investigate the different topologies of LNA. These topologies are able to reduce power consumption in CMOS for 2.4GHz. Other characteristics like high gain, low noise, input matching, output matching, low noise figure and good third intercept point are also obtained via these topologies.
