Prediction of a mixed mode crack growth trajectory at static loading

The methodology of determining of the mixed-mode crack trajectory at static loading is presented. The angle of propagation for a crack in mixed-mode fracture is obtained by using the max /spl sigma//sub 0/ criteria or energy criteria proposed by G.C. Sih (1973).
