A Dynamic Influence Map Model Based on Distance Adjustment

The traditional influence map either can't describe dynamic information, or describe dynamic information in an inaccurate way, which lead the game agent to wrong decisions. In order to solve the problem that influence map is difficult to describe dynamic information, the Dynamic Influence Map Model Based on Distance Adjustment is proposed, in which distance between the unit influence surrounding area and the point to calculate influence is adjusted according to the moving direction of the former. The model can encode dynamic information into the influence map, to support decision making of the game agent. Experiments show that compared with traditional influence map, this model can effectively improve the accuracy of the dynamic information in influence map, thus improving the performance of the game agent.
