A Microstrip Array Antenna for MIMO Communication

In this paper, a microstrip linearly polarized directional array antenna is designed, simulated, fabricated and tested for MIMO communication. Firstly, the design principle of array element is introduced, and the element feeding network is optimized. On this basis, the design and simulation process of antenna array is described in detail. After the antenna is produced, the antenna prototype is debugged, and the parameters of the antenna are optimized to the best. Finally, the difference between simulation and measured results is compared, and the difference points are analyzed. The test and debugging results show that all parameters of the antenna meet the design requirements. In the required frequency band, the antenna standing wave is less than 1.5dB, and the gain of array antenna is greater than 18dB.
