Three-Layered Incentive Framework for Mobile Crowdsourcing

The smartphone users have a lack of interest to participate in the crowdsourcing task. The primary causes behind this lack of interest are resource and security constraints. Resource constraints like the limitations of the battery, CPU, RAM of the smartphones causes an unwillingness to engage in crowdsourcing task. Moreover, security issues like disclosing confidential information stored in smartphones also inhibit the users to contribute in crowdsourcing task. We propose a three-layered incentive framework consisting of a resource management layer, privacy assurance layer and incentive layer. We address the challenges present in each layer, and the solution of these challenges will produce a standard incentive framework. This framework will alleviate all the issues created during user participation in a crowdsourcing task.
