Practice of Tour Design Curriculum Base on Smart Tourism Development

Base on the trend of intelligent technology and smart tourism development, integrate the tour information into the mobile tour apps are helpful for the tourist and tourism industry. This paper adopted new teaching model to teach the students learning about the knowledge of tour design, intelligent technology and others such as GPS, panoramic images etc. And the six steps teaching strategies enable students to achieve learning effectiveness, even the students without ICT background. By collecting the travel information of attraction points in central Taiwan, including the text, photograph, audio, video and GPS coordinates as the elements for tour design. And then integrated these elements into the mobile tour APPs. Through this course, the students without ICT background were able to use the intelligent technology, thereby increase the competitiveness in the smart tourism industry.
