Computer-aided Systematic Business Process Management: Case Study of PG Program

Modeling techniques play an important role in business process management (BPM) for all educational and non-educational organizations. The educational organizations develop their processes via modelling, designing, implementation and continuous improvement, where BPM contribute to the effectiveness, increase efficiency, automation in business processes. This paper will present a computer aided systematic business process management that assists faculty members and postgraduate in the organization. The main method included a case study for the postgraduate (PG) program in the Department of Computer Information Systems at King Abdul-Aziz University in order to enhance the provision of current information and services. This question was included in the research “What is the extent to the process BPM are used in the Faculty of Computer Information Systems Department at KAU? What are the operations to be performed with computer aided?”. This paper aims to develop the Computer Aided Systematic BPM in terms of speed, accuracy and performance improvement when applied on PG program in the Faculty of Computer Information Systems at King Abdul-Aziz University.
