Cooperating Robots for Production and Assembly: A Technical Review

In production and assembly lines, certain individual parts are built together following specific pipelines and procedures. Nowadays, assembly and production have enjoyed tremendous modernization in the era of the information revolution, enabling technologies to be applied for performance optimization and cost reductions. Most of the times, this modernization is accompanied with robot usage, which help during these processes to improve efficiency and productivity. In this article we review some of the newest methods in this domain with application field the production and assembly.
