The Novel Nonlinear Dynamics and Performance in Switch Circuit with Memristor Load Applied

Memristor has always been performed in chaotic systems to stimulate new chaotic features, but it has never applied in a switch circuit like a boost converter. In this paper, the low power boost converter with memristor load is investigated. It may give a new idea of application for memristor. The constitutive relation of the memristor is built to explore new dynamical behaviors. It is quite different with traditional boost converter, because the step-up ratio is mainly decided by the memristor's parameters and inductor current. Meanwhile, mathematical modeling is brought for a further comprehension. Phase portraits show distinguishing characters. Power spectrum helps to distinguish the periodic and chaotic behaviors. Numerical simulation and circuit experiments make a good comparison and verification.
