Guaranteed Cost Control for Coupling Two-PMSMs Systems

The guaranteed cost control problem for two permanent magnet synchronous motors(PMSMs) systems with uncertain nonlinear coupling is addressed. First, an accurate dynamic model is developed for the system by explicitly taking into account the nonlinear coupling with uncertainty. Then, a sufficient condition for the stabilization of direct feedback controller is given in terms of linear matrix inequalities(LMIs). Next, a guaranteed cost state feedback controller is developed. Finally, the velocity tracking performance and smaller control cost have been described to verify the effectiveness of the proposed approach in simulations.
