The use of object-oriented Petri nets in design specification of enterprise modelling

Based on the construct-based enterprise modelling (CEM) framework, the paper describes the modelling approach adopted in design specification of enterprise modelling. In the design specification phase, CEM uses an object-oriented Petri nets, called the OPnet, to establish enterprise models. The OPnet enterprise model consists of two parts: static attributes and dynamic behavior. Static attributes are modeled by the object description language (ODL). The dynamic behavior is modeled by the process object nets (PON), process net (p-net) and object behavior net (ob-net). In the CEM design specification phase, ODL are used to establish models of the organization view, information view and function view with the help of ob-net, and PON and p-net are used to establish the model of process view.
