Research and Application of Structural Optimization Design of Mechanical Components Based on Hyperworks

The problem of improving material utilization ratio and reducing maximum stress has become a top priority in structural optimization design of the mechanical components. In this article, taking a SSWZ330 type cross axle axis universal joint as an example, the material utilization rate was significantly improved, while reduction maximum stress was reduced, and the application of Hyperworks software was expanded in evolutionary structural optimization of mechanical components by using Hyperworks software and evolutionary structural optimization design method.
