Design of Electronic Shaft Synchronization Control System Based on EtherCAT Bus

The field bus is used for the synchronous control of electronic shaft system. The transmission efficiency of the bus is an important factor affecting the synchronization performance. In this paper, an electronic shaft synchronous control system based on EtherCAT bus is designed. The master station and the slave station are connected through the EtherCAT bus for fast data frame transmission. The hardware platform is composed of Beckhoff's motion controller, servo drive and servo motors. It realizes synchronous control of each motor through virtual spindle mode. The experimental results show that the electronic shaft synchronous control system based on EtherCAT bus has good response speed and control precision.
