Exponentially Passive Analysis of Switched Linear Systems with a Novel Storage Function

This paper studies the exponential passivity for switched linear systems. A novel storage function is used to derive the exponential passivity with an dissipative rate α. The whole running processes of subsystems are analysed instead of just analysing the activated interval by deploying a new storage function during the inactivated interval. With different energy supply rates for switched linear systems, we provide some different sufficient conditions to ensure different kinds of exponential passivity. Finally, numerical examples are given to demonstrate the effectiveness of the main results.
